How to track sources when I embed woobox on my website

Dora LIU Oct 24, 2017 01:25AM PDT

Hi

I know we can add ?source= to the woobox URL to track sources. But I want to embed the woobox on my website campaign page and link all my ads to my website page. Can I still track sources when I embed woobox on my website?

Hello Dora,

Yes, we do offer code to add on to the embed code to track sources. Below is code that shows the appended code for your promotion You will just need to add the data-params section and add in the name of the course that you would like.

<div class='woobox-offer' data-offer='2d34f2' data-params='{ "source": "data-params", "Source Here" }'></div>

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hello Dora,

If it is not separate embeds that you are looking to track then the “?source=” option to add sources to the link would be your best option for different ads or share locations.

if I embed woobox to a website page domain.com/giveaway, can I track sources if I add "?source=" to domain.com/giveaway
e.g. domain.com/giveaway?source=instagram

or
I added source tag to woobox campaign link (http://woobox.com/xxxxx?source=instagram ) and redirect our woobox campaign to our website page domain.com/giveaway

Which way works?

Hello Dora,

The second option would be correct. You will use the Woobox URL and that will redirect to your website.
